I am completing a 1-year Master’s degree in Classics in the field of Ancient Literature. Currently, my main area of interest is Greek tragedy and, in particular, time in Euripides, and its relationship to form and genre. I completed an Honours B.A. in Classics at the University of Toronto in Spring 2021. Towards the end of my undergraduate degree, I wrote a paper connecting gift exchange and commercial exchange to time in Euripides’s Hippolytus, planting the seed of my present research. In 2020, I placed first in the Senior Greek slot in the Classical Association of Canada’s annual sight reading competition. I was also awarded the Edward Wilson Gold Medal by Victoria College for graduating with the highest standing in Classics. I currently hold a Joseph-Armand Bombardier scholarship from SSHRC.
