Biography : 

Efi Tsiolaki is an archaeologist specializing in the Bronze Age Aegean, with a particular focus on the Greek mainland. Her research investigates the role of rural populations in the economic and social organization of Mycenaean Greece, using a range of methods, including spatial analysis of surface survey and landscape data. Her secondary research explores the technology of ground stone tools, examining their use across a spectrum of economic practices, from everyday activities to specialized craft production. She holds a BA in History and Archaeology and an MA in Prehistoric Archaeology from Aritstotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), and completed her doctoral studies in Classics at the University of Cincinnati.
