Biography :

I graduated from McGill University in 2022 with a BA in Joint Honours in Classics and History. During my BA, I worked with faculty as a research assistant on three different projects, for which I was granted two Arts Research Internship Awards. For this work, I transcribed court trials involving counterfeiting in New France, compiled and analyzed data on specific Ancient Greek terminology in the works of Euripides as part of the Vortex project, and helped to curate an online exhibition celebrating the bicentennial anniversary of Greek independence for the Louvre Museum.

I was also a speaker and contributor to the journals of the Quebec Inter-University Classics Colloquium in 2021 and 2022. I further published a paper in the Concordia Classics Journal, Hoplon.

During the summer of 2022, I participated in the Argilos archaeological dig led by the University of Montreal and the Ephoreia of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities of Serres, located in Northern Greece.

I am now pursuing an MA in Classics at the University of Toronto. My research will examine the development of the myths and religions of Ancient Greece through their interaction with those of the Near East, Indo-European civilizations, and other North African, Mediterranean, and Eastern cultures, spanning from the Bronze Age to the Archaic period.
