PhD Student
Biography
I’m a PhD student with a research focus on Latin literature, particularly epic and the Augustan poets. I received my BA (Vind., 2022) and MA (Dal, 2023) both with theses on Vergil’s Aeneid. My MA thesis especially focused on the influence of Epicureanism within the poet’s philosophical context. I hope to pursue this research in the future, with an eye to examining the applicability of philosophical frameworks to works of epic literature.
Research interests: Latin literature, philology, Vergil, Philodemus of Gadara, epic poetry, historical linguistics, the history of Pre-Roman and Mid-Republican Spain
