Biography

Don received both his BA and MA in Classics from McGill University. His principal interests are Latin literature and intellectual history, particularly the influence of Vergil on Late Antique literature. As part of his previous research, he completed an MA thesis on the influence of Vergil’s Georgics on St. Augustine’s Confessions. He hopes to continue this research in future, and to further examine the importance of the Georgics in the context of the broader Augustan age.
