Biography
Lillie Nadeau is currently pursuing their Masters in Classics in the Ancient History and Material Culture stream. They graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Classical Civilizations from the University of Toronto Mississauga in 2023. In addition to completing a fourth-year independent research study on the hero cult of Erechtheus in Classical Athens, they spent two weeks in Amykles, Greece in the summer of 2022, as part of a HERC archaeological field school. There, they worked with other students from around the world at the Temple of Apollo Amyklaios, studying epigraphy, pottery, archeological techniques, and the history of the site.
Research interests: Greek and Roman social history, Greek religion, gender and sexuality in the ancient world.
