On December 13, Brill Academic Publishers released Lucan and Flavian Epic, co-authored by PhD student in the program's literature stream Sarah Graham-Shaughnessy, with Prof. Kyle Gervais, and Assoc. Prof. Randall Pogorzelski, both of the University of Western Ontario's Department of Classics.
As part of the series Brill Research Perspectives in Humanities and Social Sciences and Brill Research Perspectives in Classical Poetry, Lucan and Flavian Epic traces the resurgent interest in Roman imperial epic through its reception history to the historical context of its creation.
