We are delighted that Seth Bernard has won promotion to full professor in the Department effective July 1. Seth is the author of a substantial body of research, including two ground-breaking monographs, exploring new ways of combining archaeological and literary evidence; he has raised a significant amount of income from research grants, and been an inspiring teacher and mentor. On top of all this, he is just completing his third of three years as Associate Chair and Graduate Coordinator. The whole Department offers its congratulations!
